SafeOregon Tip Line

All kids should feel safe at school and in their communities. SafeOregon is a statewide, school safety tip line that provides kids, parents, schools, and their communities a way to report safety threats or potential acts of violence.

Students, parents and school staff can access SafeOregon and submit tips in a variety of ways:

  • Online: Submit a tip through the SafeOregon web portal.
  • Call or Text: 844-472-3367 (844-4-SAFE-OR)
  • Email: tip@safeoregon.com
  • Mobile App: The SafeOregon mobile app is available in App stores.

SafeOregon is NOT a replacement for 9-1-1. Use 9-1-1 to report an emergency.

All tips go immediately to a tip line technician 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Tips are promptly analyzed and forwarded to designated personnel who can provide further assistance in resolving reported incidents. It is against the law to misuse SafeOregon. False or prank tips may be investigated by law enforcement (ORS 165.570).
