Dear CSD Families,
I hope Spring Break was a pleasant one for you and your student(s). It has been wonderful to welcome them back and I look forward to finishing the school year strong with state testing, spring sports and activities, and graduation for the class of 2022. To finish strong, we have a few reminders for keeping our kids in school and extracurricular activities.
As families are returning from a week away which may have included time spent traveling and gathering with others, please continue to monitor your family’s health carefully and keep these reminders in mind:
- In a mask-optional environment, it is even more essential for students and staff to stay home when experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
- If your student has potentially been exposed to a positive case of COVID, please seek testing.
- If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, they are required to isolate for a minimum of five days. Following the isolation period, they may return to campus if they are fever-free for 24 hours and their symptoms are improving.
Keeping students in school every day remains our goal. Your cooperation and vigilance in monitoring symptoms will help protect in-person learning opportunities as we move into the final months of the academic year. Thank you for your ongoing support and here’s to a great spring ahead for our students!
With best regards,
Mike Johnson
Superintendent
