Dear Creslane Family,
Welcome Mustangs! The Creslane teachers, staff, and I find it a privilege to serve your child as they learn and grow. Our goal is to provide students with a world-class education and we know this starts with a collaborative relationship with parents and guardians. We strive to partner with our families and community and offer many opportunities to stay in touch and get involved. We encourage families to attend monthly PTO meetings, come learn more at quarterly coffees with the principal, and to sign-up to be a volunteer. You’ll receive a monthly newsletter from the school principal and frequent access to information from classroom teachers. We utilize our website, Seesaw, Facebook, ParentSquare and other platforms to send important, timely information.
We are proud of the multiple systems of support offered at Creslane, benefiting all students. To best support the wide range of students’ abilities, we schedule a time in our day called WIN that stands for, “What I Need.” Whether your child excels academically or needs additional instruction to see success, the Creslane team of educators is ready to respond to each child’s individual needs through a variety of interventions and supports. Such supports may include interventions in math, reading, and writing, English language development, speech and language, talented and gifted programming, and social emotional and behavior support.
We are proud to be home to the Intergenerational Reading Collaboration(IRC) program. The IRC consists of a dedicated team of volunteers who spend time each week supporting reading literacy. This extra adult support not only provides the teacher the ability to group students by targeted ability, but these adults are members of our school community who find a personal drive in seeing success with students in the Creswell community. These highly trained volunteers are kind and caring adults who focus on building positive relationships with our students and support teaching and learning in the classroom.
Creslane is a special school with an amazing community. We pride ourselves in being members of this community and encourage you to get involved and help carry on the legacy of Creslane. Thank you for your support as we work together to build personal and academic development for every student.
