Creslane Elementary is a School-Wide Title I school. Title I is a federally funded program that provides additional resources, instruction, and services to support student learning and help all students meet rigorous state academic standards.
We believe that strong partnerships between families and school staff are essential to student success. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in the ongoing planning, review, and improvement of our school’s Title I program.
Family Involvement
Families have opportunities to participate in the development and review of our schoolwide Title I program through activities such as School Site Council meetings, which are typically held monthly.
Creslane Elementary is committed to:
- Involving families in the development and review of schoolwide Title I plans.
- Holding an annual meeting to explain the school’s participation in Title I and opportunities for family involvement.
- Providing families with understandable information about curriculum, academic assessments, and student progress.
- Offering opportunities for parents to share suggestions and participate in decisions regarding their children’s education.
- Providing families with individual student assessment information, including state assessment results.
