Parent/Guardians of Seniors-
We wanted to remind you that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be submitted as soon as possible starting October 1st. It’s important to remember that, in addition to federal student aid, the FAFSA is required for students seeking the Oregon Opportunity Grant and the Oregon Promise grant. It’s also important to remember that submitting a FAFSA does not obligate you to accept financial aid, it’s the first step in the process and financial aid offers come from the universities, community colleges, or trade schools you indicate on your FAFSA application. Please refer to the two attachments for further information about the FAFSA process and other important steps/events seniors should be considering.
If you have questions regarding the FAFSA application process, contact Angela Dennis, CHS College & Career Center Coordinator, at 541-895-6038 or firstname.lastname@example.org or encourage your senior to see Angela here at school.
