On September 27th, Lane CTE and Elevate Lane County welcomed high school students, ages 16 years and older, to come out for Construction Utilities Career Day. Students gathered at EWEB in downtown Eugene (former riverfront property). The fun-filled day included booths and exhibits- students talked with industry professionals and potential employers, hands-on activities- challenged themselves and had fun climbing poles, racing wheelbarrows and more! Students learned valuable lessons from the pros, and got to run an excavator, a bucket truck, or even a bulldozer!
