Mitigating the spread of Covid-19 still remains a high priority and below is an outline of the updated strategies in place at Creslane.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Face Coverings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Face coverings are optional for students and staff. While encouraged, it is not required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Face masks will remain available to all students and staff in classrooms and at all entrances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents who want their children to continue wearing face coverings are asked to notify their child\u2019s teacher.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Cohorting:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every effort is made to limit the total amount of people students are in contact with while at school. Student cohorts are identified as:\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classrooms<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grade Levels<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Small instructional groups<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bus transportation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendance, student rosters, and seating charts will be kept current to identify student cohorts.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents will receive notification from the classroom teacher or district office i<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">f a positive case of COVID-19 is identified in their student&#8217;s classroom or other school groupings.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Parents will monitor their child for symptoms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Quarantine:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students and staff will not be required to quarantine when they are exposed to a positive case of COVID-19 and asymptomatic. They should continue to monitor closely for symptoms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\"><b>Updated<\/b><b> Symptoms for COVID-19\u00a0<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Primary COVID-19 Symptoms:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cough\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Temperature of 100.4 F or higher\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chills\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shortness of breath\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Difficulty breathing\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New loss of taste or smell\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-Primary COVID-19 Symptoms:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fatigue\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muscle or body aches\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headache\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sore throat\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nasal congestion or runny nose\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nausea or vomiting\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diarrhea<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will be updating our Safe Return to In-Person and Continuity of Services plan on our district website to reflect these changes. Protocols involving vaccination requirements, physical distancing, isolation, testing, hand washing, training and education, entry screening, cleaning and ventilation, and airflow all remain in place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have questions or need to report a COVID-19 exposure or symptoms, please don\u2019t hesitate to contact the Creslane health room or administration.
